Terms and Conditions
1. Payment
1.1 Full payment is due at the time of the assessment or order.
1.2 We reserve the right to charge for clinical assessments. Full payment for the assessment appointment is required regardless of whether or not a product is provided.
1.3 Should there be any additional unforeseen costs from the manufacturer, these and any further clinical appointment fees are payable upon the supply of the product. These payments are non-refundable.
1.4 Should there be a request for any alterations following the supply of your device, these and any further clinical appointment fees are to be paid upfront. These payments are non-refundable. While we aim to accommodate requests, we reserve the right to assess the feasibility, safety, and appropriateness of changes. Not all alterations may be possible.
1.5 We require a valid purchase order from the payer for customers being funded by a third party (e.g., an NHS Trust, charity, insurance company, solicitor, care company, etc.) before an order can be placed.
2. Returns and Refunds
2.1 Full refunds for appointments are available if you cancel your appointment at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice do not qualify for a refund.
2.2 As custom-made products are individually tailored to each patient, they are non-returnable and non-refundable. In the unlikely event that a custom product does not fit correctly, you have 2 weeks from the date of supply to inform us. We will then have the product reworked at the clinician’s discretion to ensure a clinically correct outcome.
2.3 Custom-made products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 6 months from the date of supply for all rigid components. Soft items, such as straps and padding, are guaranteed for 2 months from the date of supply.
2.4 It is recommended that all custom-made products are inspected for wear at a minimum of 6-month intervals.
2.5 Limitless Orthotics reserves the right to decline alterations or repairs to any item (custom or ready-made) that has not been supplied by the company.
2.6 Limitless Orthotics reserves the right to decline to comment on or provide ongoing treatment for any patient who has started treatment elsewhere.
3. Single Patient Use
3.1 It is a condition of sale that all orthopaedic products supplied by Limitless Orthotics are regarded as strictly 'Single Patient Use Only' and are to be used solely by the fitted patient. This policy is in place to protect both the care provider and the patient from potentially adverse consequences, such as infectious disease transmission or material instability due to prior use.
3.2 Any expressed or implied warranties are void if the orthosis is re-used for another patient.
3.3 Any orthosis purchased from Limitless Orthotics must be prescribed and applied by a qualified clinician to ensure it meets the needs of the specific patient and achieves the desired results.
4. Customer Responsibilities
4.1 You are required to provide accurate and complete information during your appointments. Limitless Orthotics is not responsible for outcomes arising from incomplete or inaccurate disclosure of relevant information.
5. Limitations of Liability
5.1 In no event shall Limitless Orthotics or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, profit, or business interruption) arising from the use or inability to use the materials on our website, even if Limitless Orthotics or an authorised representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes any liability for issues arising from the use or misuse of orthotic devices and services.
