About
“I started Limitless Orthotics to provide fast access to personalised, high-quality orthotic care beyond the constraints of the NHS.”
Beginning his career as an orthopaedic technician, Bob then went on to study Prosthetics and Orthotics at Salford University where he gained a First Class Honours Degree. His career so far has spanned both adult and paediatric orthotics, with a patient-centred approach focused on understanding each person's unique needs and goals and ensuring solutions that provide positive and transformative outcomes.
After years of working predominantly within the NHS, Bob became increasingly frustrated with the limitations patients faced—long wait times and restricted access to the most effective devices. In response, he founded Limitless Orthotics to offer a better way: a comprehensive, personalised service that empowers individuals with the very best orthotic solutions designed to improve their quality of life.
At Limitless Orthotics, we believe that the right orthotic solution can transform lives—by reducing pain, improving mobility, and enhancing skeletal alignment. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality care, helping people of all ages regain their independence and start living again.

How we work
-
The full appointment fee is charged on booking. Full refunds are applicable if you cancel your appointment 48 hours before the scheduled time.
The assessment fee covers the appointment only. Any subsequent steps, including purchasing an orthotic device, will usually incur additional charges.
Due to the customised nature of certain orthotic devices, a quote for your device will be sent shortly after your assessment appointment (usually within one week). Depending on the type of device you may need pay in full or leave a 50% deposit.
-
Your assessment will be conducted by a degree qualified orthotist who is registered with the Healthcare Professions Council. Please wear appropriate clothing (loose clothing or preferably shorts) to allow the orthotist to easily see the relevant body parts. Any information about your condition is helpful to us. If you have been seen by another medical professional we would like to see their reports. The orthotist will inquire about your general health and it is important you give accurate answers. Following this, a physical assessment will be performed.
Once the assessment concludes, your orthotist will offer recommendations for the most suitable device based on your needs. After mutual agreement, the next step may involve taking a cast or a 3D scan to capture the shape of the relevant body part.
The appointment should take no more than one hour.
-
As soon as your orthotic device has been manufactured we will be in touch to arrange your next appointment.
Some devices require a “fitting” in order to check the device fits and functions as intended before it is fully finished. Following a successful fitting the device is finished off and a “supply” appointment is made. Other devices only require one appointment in order to supply the device.
Lead times will vary depending on the type of device being made.
-
Following the supply of your device, any requests for alterations may incur additional charges.
Prior to any alterations, a review appointment may be required to evaluate the necessity and feasibility of the requested changes and this will be charged at the relevant rate.
While we strive to accommodate alteration requests, we reserve the right to assess the feasibility, safety and appropriateness of the requested changes. Some alterations may not be feasible.
Costs associated with alterations, if applicable, will be communicated to you before any work begins. These costs may include materials, labour, and any additional assessments. Your explicit approval and consent will be obtained before initiating any alterations to the device.
